Where can I find protective gear?
To find means of protection including external condoms, several solutions exist:
Free solutions
It is possible for you to find free external condoms:
- in a family planning center ;
– with certain organizations and specialized associations ;
- At festive events such as festivals;
- In bars and nightclubs;
Pay solutions
In the shops, external condoms are generally sold in boxes of 12 and, depending on the brand, can cost between €4 and €14. You can easily find condoms
- In pharmacies and drugstores;
- In the supermarket, in the hygiene department or at the checkout;
- In shops dedicated to cosmetics and personal care products;
- In sex shops;
- At nightshop and other convenience stores ;
- on the Internet.
Your mutual insurance company may reimburse your condoms up to €75 a year. Check the conditions with them.
