Combined prevention
There are several ways to protect against STIs. The principle of combined prevention is to consider that the various means of prevention are complementary, enabling each person not only to reduce the risk of contracting an STI, but also to break the chains of transmission.
To apply combined prevention, it is advisable to :

Use protective means of protection

Getting vaccinated against papillomavirus and hepatitis A & B

Get screened regularly

Monitor treatment prescribed to you (there are also preventive treatments)

Tell your partners of the last few months when you have an STI
