DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSOCIATION :

SIDA'SOS is a non-profit organisation created by young people for young people, recognised as a Youth Organisation and health promotion association. It is therefore active in the field of education and prevention. Its mission is to raise awareness of sexual health among young people through peer education in order to change attitudes and improve behaviour in the long term.

SIDA'SOS is active throughout the year in the universities, colleges and secondary schools of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, in particular via a fun, educational and interactive course.

In addition, the young people mobilised within SIDA'SOS develop throughout the year new educational tools, communication campaigns and events in order to become CRACS (Responsible, Active, Critical and Supportive Citizens).

FUNCTIONS - WITHIN THE PEDAGOGICAL DEPARTMENT :

Analysis of health/prevention needs within a university

  • Design and implement an approach to analyse the needs and expectations of a given population in a specific context
  • Managing contacts with young people, teaching staff, principals and other members of the school
  • Supervise the various meetings necessary for the analysis
  • Collect and analyse data
  • Write the summary of the analysis
  • Follow-up with the support organisation (CBPS)

Animation EVRAS

  • Field reinforcement for EVRAS animations within the awareness-raising courses for secondary schools
  • Field reinforcement on the upper courses

 

Training :

  • Organisation and co-animation of training courses for students (theoretical and practical) in paramedical, social and pedagogical fields
  • Co-animation of practical training for professionals in the sector

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Writing skills and good spelling
  • Mastery of data collection (focus group, interview, questionnaire, etc.) and analysis tools
  • Animation skills
  • Mastery of concepts related to health promotion and education
  • Driving licence required

PROFILE :

  • 1 to 3 years experience in community health, public health or education
  • Excellent affinity with young people (15-30 years)
  • At ease with sexuality-related issues, able to address them without taboos or complexes
  • Strong organisational and logistical capacity
  • Interest in the voluntary sector, particularly in the youth and health sectors
  • Rigour and precision

OUR OFFER :

  • 7 month fixed term contract, possibility of permanent contract thereafter
